15 Feb Day 93 – addendum
Jan. About arriving May 2018: Eva and I set off on our great trip, a hike from the Black Sea to Fisterra. We want to visit many positive projects. And experience many adventures. Eva wants to dance. To float. To fly. I want to hike, feel the earth under my feet, discover the authentic. December 2019: 1 year and 7 months later I’m at our destination, kilometer 0 of the Camino de Santiago. Someone wrote on the sign “Semper Url T’Estimem”. Catalan for “We always love you” … In front of me the lighthouse of Fisterra is enthroned in the morning sun. Luis is now 8 months old and hangs a little bored in the stretcher. I needed to walk the last 3 kilometers from the village. To find a completion. To finish the plan in your head. The emotions are overcoming me. I look at the scallop. We always love you. The lighthouse, the destination. A few tears begin to for. I have to take a deep breath to get something down. I have already made some trips and it is not the first time that I have broken off all tents and set out into the unknown … But this time it is different. This time the trip changed the life. Completely thrown off track and rearranged it. Nothing will be the same again. I am now aware of this. Everything stays different. Luis begins to whine, completely unimpressed by the depth and scope of Papa’s thoughts. Wants to go back to the motorhome, to mom, to eat and drink. I have to smile. What a good life. We always love you..
